The Development Committee is adding another speaking opportunity that is eligible for the mandatory part of the Super 4-Her Award. Saturday, April 18, 10-11am we will be doing a “4-Hers Strut Their Stuff” at Ashlar of Newton- a Nursing and Assisted Living Facility in south Newtown. 4-Hers doing speeches, demonstrations, illustrated talks, power points and talents are welcomed. It is ok to give the presentation that was given at the Public Speaking Contest in January. Kids must pre-register. This can count as the mandatory public speaking item for the Super 4-Her award or count as a second public speaking opportunity in the elective section.
A flyer with registration info will be sent next week.
Live animals are not allowed in the facility, unless it is a dog . Dogs would have to show proof of current rabies.
